Early in the first quarter tonight, J.J. Watt was rushing from the defensive end position. He slipped during his rush and fell to one knee. He got back up and punched the tackle, and then proceeded to go back down again. After the play concluded, he laid on the grass until the training staff arrived.

Watt couldn’t leave the field on his own two legs. He was helped off by the training staff and was on the verge of crying. It was just the saddest thing ever for Texans’ football. Afterwards they put him in the medical tent, and J.J. was carted off to the locker room. And recently he has placed on an ambulance to be taken to the hospital.
UPDATE—J.J. Watt’s injury is confirmed. He suffered a tibial plateau fracture.
