While the metaphorical death of various NFL careers is being pondered around the league, a new career will be birthed at Soldier Field tonight. That’s right, the No.3 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Mitchell Trubisky, will make his first start for the Chicago Bears. The Bears had previously backed Mike Glennon and his $19 million guaranteed, but a 1-3 start featuring a slew of poor performances from Glennon resulted in John Fox turning the reigns over to his rookie QB.
Unfortunately for Trubisky and the Bears, he will be making that first start against an Vikings defense in prime time. This will be your open thread for the evening’s action, so enjoy.
