We won’t discuss last week. Let’s start by agreeing on that. This week, the Deshaun Watson-less Houston Texans will be travelling to the City of Angels to take on the Los Angeles Rams. In previous years, when Jeff Fisher was at the helm, and we had Romeo Crennel’s defense, with J.J. Watt, Whitney Mercilus, and a linebacking corps that could and would dominate games, this would have been a defensive slugfest between two teams that know that defense wins championships. The new look Rams, however, believe in scoring as well as preventing their opponents from scoring. The new look Texans don’t like the red zone. Even with that bleak backstory, we’ll still be watching the action, because that’s what we do.
