I love Andre Johnson.
You love Andre Johnson.
We all love Andre Johnson.
We all love him so much, in fact, that the City of Houston’s affection for one of their greatest football icons will now be officially immortalized with its very own holiday - ‘Dre Day.
At City Hall, right now honoring #Texans @johnson80, council member @GreenDistrictK talking about Johnson’s great work off the field. Watch live on https://t.co/ZG3uJZPaAa pic.twitter.com/Rev3cP5vZB

How will you be celebrating Andre Johnson Day (when he starts and is the first inductee into the Texans’ Ring of Honor at NRG Stadium) on Sunday? For me, I’ll be doing it the same way I celebrated every November Sunday when ‘Dre was on the team for all those years - wearing a Liberty White #80 jersey and eating a platter full of wings. It don’t think it gets any better than that.
