Who Is The Texans’ Best Defensive Lineman Nobody’s Talking About?

There’s one really easy answer.

He does it all.

Our sponsors this week want fans to chime in with their thoughts about who their respective team’s most under-the-radar defensive lineman is. In other words, which member of the Houston Texans’ defensive line doesn’t get the credit he should?

The immediate answer here is D.J. Reader. The second-year pro out of Clemson has progressed quite nicely this season. He showed considerable promise last year in relief of Vince Wilfork, and I think it’s fair to say he’s gotten exponentially better since then. On an injury-ravaged defensive line, Reader has been a legitimate bright spot.

That said, you may have a different perspective. Carlos Watkins? Joel Heath? Brandon Dunn? Christian Covington, before he got hurt? Discuss as you see fit in the Comments.
