It’s Monday, and that can only mean Monday Night Football. The Texans are in Baltimore to take on the Ravens, and we’re here to discuss tonight’s goings on before the action begins.

The 4-6 Houston Texans aim to take down the 5-5 Baltimore Ravens as we hope to not embarrass ourselves on national television. On the face of it, the Texans should lose this game. It’s at night, on national television, and started by Tom Savage instead of Deshaun Watson.

But the Ravens’ defense has surrendered an average of 120.8 rushing yards per game (our average is 128.5 YPG), so if Bill O’Brien chooses to feed the running backs, the outcome might favorable. Joe Flacco, according to fans, is elite (though the Ravens average 165.2 passing yards per game), while our defense allows 252.8 passing yards per game. This might get dicey.

This is the first game back after we ate some birds and pigs, and we’re all feeling thankful for the Texans, for our defense, and for Romeo Crennel still being employed by this team. This is your Countdown to Kickoff, where you can chat until the first quarter thread opens up at 7:15 p.m.
