A mere 22 days after being signed by the Texans, Lamarr Houston has been waived, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport:
The #Texans are waiving veteran LB Lamarr Houston, source said. With the loss last night, they are turning their attention to some of their younger players

Houston played 146 snaps over five games; he tallied six tackles, one sack, and one 34 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown against the Colts in Week 9.
With Houston’s departure, the Texans will look towards Dylan Cole and Brennan Scarlett to man the OLB spots for the remainder of the season. What do you make of this news? Do you think Houston should have been given more of a chance in Houston, or was it time to move on from him?
