I don’t want to watch this game. I don’t want to watch another Texans game this year. I should finish this short story collection I have been working on. I should start reading again. I should skip out on the disaster the rest of this season is going to be.
But I won’t. I’ll be a good little boy and watch this team because this is how I have decided to spend my life during this part of the year.
I’ll be watching this game in Dallas, or via a recorded version when I get back from Dallas. I’m going to see my boy Boogie Cousins tonight and a Stars game on Saturday night. All I am is a man rambling up and down I-35.
What about you? How are you watching? Are you going to the game or are your pockets empty after spending it all on World Series tickets and Astros’ memorabilia? Will you be sitting in the parking lot before the game? Is an outdoor patio calling hither with the weather cranked up to the early 90s? Or are you going to skip the rest of the season and give in to the broken heart?
Whatever your plans, let us know in the Comments. If you're still trying to figure out what you're going to do, or if you’ll be a stranger in a strange land looking for somewhere to catch the game, pose any queries here; someone might have a suggestion for you. Similarly, if you've got a worthy spot staked out somewhere and want to clue fellow Texans fans in to it, please divulge that information in the Comments as well.
