It’s that time of year. December football is in full swing. The college football regular season is over. All that’s left are some bowl games. The NFL now has the opportunity to play football on Saturdays. And oh, will they ever.
At 3:30 p.m. today, the Lions and Bears are playing on NFL Network. We get Tarik Cohen and Jordan Howard running around against an underrated Lions’ defense, Mitchell Trubiksy’s insane stat lines, Matthew Stafford’s broken fingers, the Bears’ pretty solid offensive line and front seven, Marvin Jones making sideline leaping catches, Golden Tate (every time he’s in the street, he goes YAC-YAC-YAC!), Taylor Decker against Leonard Floyd, the Lions failing to have a 100 yard rusher again, Jim Caldwell’s blank stares into the abyss, and John Fox red faced and clapping (I hope it snows!).
Anyways, here’s your open thread for today’s Saturday afternoon delight. Remember all the standard commenting rules apply.
