The One Thing I’d Change About The Texans’ Season Is...

Everything. What? I can only pick one thing? Nonsense.

This week’s sponsored post asks each SB Nation NFL site what, if we had the power to turn back the hands of time, the one thing we’d change about our respective team’s 2017 season is. For Texans fans, this question requires little thought.

I’d wish Deshaun Watson didn’t suffer a season-ending injury.

If DW4 hadn’t gotten hurt, he would have surely built upon the electric seven-game sample he tantalized NFL fans with. It’s also entirely possible, perhaps even probable, that he would have led the Texans back to the playoffs. In any event, Watson would have made Texans games appointment viewing again instead of the grim trudge to the finish line they’ve become since he went down.

But that’s too easy.

Of course changing Deshaun Watson’s situation is what Texans fans would do if they had one wish.

The tougher inquiry is what we’d do with a second mulligan. There are several legitimate options in that respect. So with the understanding that we all know what we’d do with the first wish, what would you do if you had a second one to change the Texans’ 2017 season?
