When examining Myles Garrett and Cam Robinson's 2016 campaigns through the lens of the NFL draft, no game was more important for both of them than Texas A&M's mid-season clash with Alabama. Robinson was the best offensive tackle that Garrett would face all season, while Garrett was of course the most talented edge rusher that Robinson would play against within a brutal gauntlet of a schedule.
Both of them exchanged body blows for four straight quarters. At the end of the day, it was tough to declare either one of them a true "winner" in their individual match-up. Robinson managed to not allow a single sack throughout the game, but Garrett still made plenty of splash plays regardless of who he lined up against (Robinson included). As far as high-profile battles between future first round picks go, this one was as even as anyone could have ever hoped for.
With any luck, we'll get to see these two face off against each other in the NFL for years to come.
