Dane Brugler has a projection of the 2017 NFL Draft out, and he has your Houston Texans snagging a player with high-name recognition. It’s not offensive line or quarterback, but I have to admit I’d be a little excited if this came to pass on April 27th.
25. Houston Texans—Jabrill Peppers, LB/S, Michigan: Lack of a natural position could push him down draft boards, but Peppers is an explosive athlete who could blossom in a hybrid role once he focuses on that one position.
Where Peppers plays on the next level is a valid concern, but you’d have to think that Romeo Crennel and Mike Vrabel could figure out a way to make it work. What are your thoughts on the possibility of Jabrill Peppers, Houston Texan?
