In his previous mock draft, Dan Kadar had your Houston Texans targeting an offensive lineman in the first round. In his latest three-round extravaganza, Kadar sticks with that philosophy but has a different tackle pegged for Houston:
25. Houston Texans: Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama
Houston needs talent on the offensive line, and Robinson is a player they could start at guard because of his run blocking, or shift over to right tackle.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Robinson projected to land at NRG Park, and there are surely Texans fans who would have a problem with the selection.
Kadar didn’t stop at the end of Round One in his mock, and I reckon fans may be more pleased by his second round pick for Houston.
57. Houston Texans: T.J. Watt, LB, Wisconsin
What do you think about the youngest brother of J.J. Watt joining the Texans? Is that a movement you can get behind?
Or what about the Texans grabbing a quarterback in the third round? Kadar has the Texans going that route at the moment.
89. Houston Texans: Brad Kaaya, QB, Miami
How would a troika of Cam Robinson/T.J. Watt/Brad Kaaya in the first three rounds of the 2017 NFL Draft grab you?
