Probably a better shot of this happening than Mitchell Trubisky being around at No. 25, right?

Much like the many dominoes that would have to fall exactly so to find Mitchell Trubisky still available when your Houston Texans go on the clock in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, what are your thoughts about this hypothetical scenario reflected in Dan Kadar’s latest mock draft?

25. Houston Texans: DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame

If Kizer happens to slide on draft night, this might be where his fall stops. Kizer has tools that can be molded, but he has to go to a team that can coach him up.

Kizer might be the most talented quarterback in the draft this year. That doesn’t mean he’s anywhere near ready to step in under center for an NFL team, but of the QBs widely considered to be most likely selected in the first round, Kizer and Deshaun Watson are the two most intriguing possibilities for the Texans in my mind. What say you? Would you be geeked if the Texans took Kizer at No. 25?
