Bill O’Brien: J.J. Watt “Definitely On Track To Be Ready To Go”

The Texans’ head coach gave an update on the status of the best player in the NFL. See what Bill O’Brien had to say about J.J. Watt.

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans
He’s on his way. Tremble, NFL.
Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Last week, we got a glimpse of J.J. Watt in action. Training action in the offseason, anyway. Yesterday, Bill O’Brien gave the media his two cents on the status of the return of the best player in the NFL. From the head coach of your Houston Texans:

"J.J.'s doing great," Bill O'Brien said. "He's really looking forward to being back in Houston in a couple weeks. He's definitely on track to be ready to go."

"I don't know how much he'll do in OTAs and things like that," O'Brien said. "But he's on track to be ready to play, and I will tell you that knowing J.J. the way I know him, he cannot wait to be back out on the field playing football."

It’s a small bit of information, but information nonetheless. And this post didn’t even mention Tony Romo!

Wait...

Consarn it.
