2017 NFL Draft: Jabrill Peppers Scouting Report

We finally take the time to break down one of the biggest names of the 2017 NFL Draft - Michigan superstar Jabrill Peppers.

NFL: Combine Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

As Texans fans, have you ever seen a prospect play in college and just know that he was born to play in Houston? Have you ever been so convinced about someone’s fit in both the locker room and within the team’s current coaching philosophies that you would be shocked if they did not end up in Battle Red? I felt that way about DeAndre Hopkins back during his dominant days at Clemson, and now for the first time in four years, I have had those same feelings develop about Jabrill Peppers.

Whether it’s at safety, slot cornerback, punt returner, running back, or something in between, Peppers is a football player tailor-made for a Bill O’Brien team. He’s tough, he’s athletic, he works incredibly hard, and he’s willing to do anything that the coaches ask of him. Hell, I’m not sure that O’Brien could dream up a better match for his defensive culture even if he tried to. Take a look at our full-length breakdown below and see what I mean when I say that Jabrill Peppers is quite possibly the most perfect fit for the Houston Texans in this entire draft class.

Enjoy the episode! Next up: Vanderbilt’s Zach Cunningham.
