We’ve dealt with legal tampering the last couple of days, all in a steady build toward this. The 2017 NFL year has started, and with it comes free agency.

Thus far, your Houston Texans have (reportedly) agreed to new contracts with Shane Lechler and Nick Novak. We’ve heard that they may be a suitor for Tony Romo after the Cowboys’ quarterback is released. We know that they have already lost one of their starting safeties in Quintin Demps and one of their top cornerbacks in A.J. Bouye. We should find out much, much more about what the 2017 Houston Texans could look like now that players are free to sign with teams.

With that, consider this your live tracker for NFL free agent signings. Add your two cents, either in the way of opinion or actual news you see reported, in the space below.

UPDATE I:

The biggest news of the day, if you haven't already heard, was that Brock Osweiler has been traded to the Browns to aid the Texans' cap situation.

Alshon Jeffery lands in Philadelphia on a short one-year contract.

The Texans lose big name free agent cornerback A.J. Bouye to division rival Jaguars.

The Texans lose out on another big name right tackle in free agency as Riley Reiff joins the Vikings.

The Seahawks look to boost their offensive line with the signing of Luke Joeckel.

UPDATE II: Lots of free agent news from around the league...

UPDATE III: Surely JungleBoi_Swagg’s agents included a clause in the deal prohibiting Washington from making their client play special teams.
