Today at 1 p.m. CDT, Andre Johnson, having signed a one-day contract, will officially retire as a member of your Houston Texans. Technically, ‘Dre retired in the middle of the 2016 season, but today’s ceremony is the natural—and righteous—result of a promise ‘Dre made that he was “coming home” and “[would] always be a Texan.”
We here at BRB have paid our respects to Andre Johnson’s career before, so I won’t do it again now. What I will do, however, is use this post as an excuse to post more highlights from Andre Johnson’s career with the Texans, with an assist from the team’s official Twitter account. Enjoy.
4th-and-10? Game on the line?
