Sunday Afternoon Is Alright For Commenting: 4/2/17

I’m sorry about last night. I agreed to write the S.N.O.T. at 3:17 a.m. on Saturday morning. Naturally, me at 10 a.m. forgot what the previous version of myself agreed to do when owls were floating around. The blood is on my hands. I’m a bad boy. I messed up.

To make up for my shortcoming, here’s an open thread that’s just like the S.N.O.T., except for one big difference. It’s on Sunday instead. Crazy!

Here’s what I have to say. Are you ready? Easter is coming up. Trees are soaked in great swathes of purple. The hills are ordained with yellows, blues, purples, and oranges. Shorts are on legs. Bees are percolating. Streets are filled with hazy afternoon walks. That big fiery ball is in my blood.

To enjoy Easter and really soak up this time, you should read The Sound and The Fury. UprootedTexan loves it more than he loves the Texas Rangers. If you start reading it now, even a moderate pace you wil get to the last chapter that takes place on Easter Sunday by Easter Sunday. Wow. Isn’t that beautiful?
