MEDIA ANALYST PLAYER RANKINGS

1. MIKE MAYOCK’S POSITION RANKINGS 3.0 : QUARTERBACK

Mayock’s third installment of his position rankings had Deshaun Watson overtake DeShone Kizer as the top quarterback on Mayock’s board. Essentially the stack ranking remained the same for Deshaun Watson, Mitchell Trubisky and Patrick Mahomes, all of whom moved up one notch, but Kizer fell from number one all the way to the fourth-ranked candidate:

The previous two installments by Mayock remained unchanged at quarterback. Interestingly, Mayock’s latest version followed comments from Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly where Kelly stated that Kizer needed more time to develop before heading to the NFL. We’ll cover that detail in the Kizer section.

NFL.com has the first round QB mocks are all over the place.

CBS has 5 out of 6 mocks showing Houston with a first round QB.

FOX suggests 3 QBs go in the first round, none to Houston.
