Two days down and one to go. Today, the final four rounds of the 2017 NFL Draft shall come to pass. As of this moment, having already added the services of Deshaun Watson, Zach Cunningham, and D’Onta Foreman, those remaining four rounds will feature your Houston Texans making four (4) picks at the following spots:
- Pick No. 130
- Pick No. 142 (acquired from Cleveland in the Brock Osweiler trade)
- Pick No. 169
- Pick No. 243
That means the Texans have two picks in the fourth round, one in the fifth round, none in the sixth round, and one in the seventh round as of the time of this writing. Who they’ll take, or whether they’ll add to or subtract from that bounty, remains to be seen.
We will of course have fresh posts each time the Texans make a pick, as well as new threads for each round. After the draft is over, the next phase—the run on undrafted rookie free agents—begins. We’ll track those in a separate post as news breaks.
Gonna be a full day, people. Let’s get to it. The floor is yours.
REMINDER: Do not post any tweets, posts, or news about any picks in the fourth round before they’re announced on the live television broadcast. Doing so will be a bannable offense.
