Allow me, if you will, a moment’s respite from writing about your Houston Texans. Instead, I want to suggest you head on over to visit our pals at The Crawfish Boxes (managed by BRB’s own Ryan Dunsmore!) on this, Opening Day for your 2017 Houston Astros.
There’s as much buzz about the Astros as a legitimate threat to win the World Series as there’s been since 2005, and with good reason. By account both objective and subjective, Houston’s lineup is stacked. Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, Alex Bregman, George Springer, a returning Carlos Beltran...this should be a very fun team to watch. There are some questions about the pitching staff, but if Dallas Keuchel and Lance McCullers can stay healthy, watch the *&#% out.
The ‘Stros start their march toward The Commissioner’s Trophy tonight at 7:10 p.m. CDT against the Seattle Mariners. Read the official TCB preview here and try to contain your glee that baseball’s back, baby.
