Every year, the SB Nation sites for each NFL team get together for a two-round mock draft. You can find a stream for every pick by clicking here, and we have a link locked into the lower right corner of our top posts on the main page of BRB.
I say that to say this: The “brain trust” that is your BRB writing staff has made its pick for your Houston Texans, and it’s ready for you to praise, bash, and/or shrug your shoulders. In the interest of full disclosure, we made the pick before before Tony Romo announced his retirement. I do not, however, believe that our selection would have changed even if we knew Romo wasn’t coming to town. It was not a unanimous selection; Cam Robinson and Obi Melifonwu also were championed by a vocal minority.
What’s your reaction to the pick? If it came to pass on the night of April 27th, would you be pleased, disgusted, or somewhere in between?
UPDATE: We also made a pick in the second round. You can mock that selection here.
