According to Inside Survivor, former Houston Texans defensive back Alan Ball will be a contestant on the show’s upcoming 35th season, “Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.” Ball made started one game and played in eleven for the Texans in 2012.
Ball’s career began as a seventh round pick for the Cowboys in 2007. After four seasons there, he came south to Houston and had stints in Jacksonville, Chicago, and Arizona. He was last seen on an NFL roster last August when the Cardinals cut him due to injury.
Ball will reportedly be a member on the “Heroes” tribe. He is not the first NFL player to test his skills on the island. In fact, former Buccaneers defensive back Brad Culpepper finished as the runner-up in Wednesday’s finale of “Survivor: Game Changers.”
Here is a preview for “Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers,” coming this September.
