The NFL Network Top 100 results continue to roll in, and there is finally a Houston Texan on the list! For the first time since his first overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft, Jadeveon Clowney has been voted into the Top 100 by his peers.

In 2016, with J.J. Watt sidelined for almost the entire year, Clowney stepped up with his best season to date. The third year defensive end racked up 55 total tackles, six sacks, a forced fumble, two passes defended, and an interception. He was a disruptive force on the field, helping to lead the Texans’ top-ranked defense into the postseason. Houston quickly picked up the fifth year option on Clowney’s rookie contract earlier this offseason.

So far, Clowney is the only Texan to make the Top 100 list. He tweeted this reaction to the news:

What are your thoughts, Texans fans? Do you agree with Clowney’s ranking at #49? Do you think any other Texans will join him on this year’s list? You can use the comments section below to discuss.
