Is The Texans’ Offense Line Truly This Horrendous?

Pro Football Focus thinks so.

Given the dim view Pro Football Focus has of the Texans’ roster, it’s fitting that they aren’t high on one of the more questionable units on the team entering training camp. PFF recently ranked the projected starting offensive lines for all 32 teams, and here’s what they had to say about a unit that could feature Duane Brown-Xavier Su’a Filo-Greg Mancz-Jeff Allen-Chris Clark as the starters:

29. Houston Texans

The emergence of Nick Martin and Julie’n Davenport could work wonders for this line, but there’s little hope for the status quo from a season ago. Left guard Xavier Sua-Filo looks like a bust at this point after back-to-back seasons as a bottom 20 guard.

I get the doubt in the Texans’ offensive line. But are they really only better than three other offensive lines in the entire NFL?
