J.J. Watt Takes Shot At Big Baller Brand

NFL: Houston Texans-OTA Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Look, we’re in the dog days of summer. That means only baseball is going on (Hey, go check The Crawfish Boxes). The Texans are still 10 more days from Training Camp starting.

There is nothing going on.

Of course, that makes it the perfect time to release a new pair of shoes, right? That's what Reebok and Texans defensive end J.J. Watt thought. Watt released his new “Reebok JJ II” shoe this week. Watt didn’t miss a chance to take a shot at the most talked about shoes this year, Big Baller Brand’s ZO2. The ZO2 can be yours at the low, low price of $495 per pair.

Naturally, Watt called out Big Baller Brand on their price point.

And the fact that Lonzo Ball hasn’t even worn his own signature shoe for half of his Summer League games.

Am I going to say these are deep burns? No. Am I going to run out and buy the shoe from a company that has hung its hat on Watt, UFC, and CrossFit? No.

But we can all take away the fact that Watt isn’t Big Baller.
