With the best defensive player in the NFL limited to only three games last season, there was a huge vacuum to fill. Who would step up in J.J. Watt’s place as the undisputed best pass rusher in the world? Could it even be done? Or was Watt just that far ahead of the rest of the pack?

Well, as the league would soon find out, Watt’s dominance could and would be emulated by none other than the man who the Texans passed up in the 2014 NFL Draft - Raiders defensive end Khalil Mack.
