The Jaguars were supposed to be fun and competitive last year. They were supposed to be ready for the playoffs this season. Of course, that’s not what happened. Of course, they were really bad again.
I want Paul Kuharsky’s old AFC South job with ESPN. So just like last year, I’ll be previewing the AFC South here at Battle Red Blog. Tonight via spoken word, it’s the Jaguars with Big Cat Country’s Zach Goodall LIVE at 9 p.m. CDT for all you late night cricket bugs out there.
Zach and I will talk about the Jaguars’ upcoming season. Topics include how miserable last season was, the tone of this year’s training camp with Doug Marrone running the show, where Jacksonville’s defense will finish amongst their NFL peers, Leonard Fournette’s handshake, the Blake Bortles era, and whether the run game will crawl out of the league’s statistical basement.
The drill will be the same always and forever. Leave whatever questions you have in the comments, and I will answer them at the end of the show. Whether you listen or not (which you should), all questions are welcome and we are grateful for whatever you throw at us.

If you haven’t hit that follow button to keep up to date with Zach’s writing, you should. He’s very important and very good. He interviewed Fournette recently.
I got to interview Jaguars first round pick, RB Leonard Fournette, about charity, his upbringing, and his new team https://t.co/GLZz5f2j2V
