Battle Red Radio: The Texans Probably Won’t Be #1

The Texans will probably be the same as they have been for the last three seasons. A really great defense dragged down by a bad offense and really bad special teams. Unlike the previous two seasons, it may doom them from winning the AFC South.

I want Paul Kuharsky’s old AFC South job. So just like last year, I’ll be previewing the AFC South here at Battle Red Blog. This afternoon, LIVE via the spoken word during your drive home at 5 p.m. CDT, it’s the Texans with Battle Red Blog’s own and James Joyce’s finest, Luke Beggs.

Topics include offensive improvement, Tom Savage optimism, Deshaun Watson as starting quarterback, whether Lamar Miller will bounce back in 2017, the thin wide receiver position, how good this can defense be, J.J. Watt+Jadeveon Clowney+Whitney Mercilus=death and destruction, special teams misery, and Bill O’Brien speculation.

The drill will be the same always and forever. Leave whatever questions you have in the comments, and we will answer them at the end of the show. Whether you listen or not (which you should), all questions are welcome and we are grateful for whatever you throw at us.
