Despite selling over 40,000 tickets to the game in less than a day - the proceeds of which would have been donated to the relief effort - the Texans decided to return to Houston to reunite with their families and assess the damage to their homes.
The next time the Texans take the field, it will be in front of a home crowd at NRG Stadium in Week One of the regular season when the Jacksonville Jaguars come to town.
