DeAndre Hopkins Signs Five-Year Extension With Texans

After securing the futures of Andre Hal, Jay Prosch and C.J. Fiedorowicz, your Houston Texans have finally locked up star wideout DeAndre Hopkins with a new five-year deal. ESPN’s Adam Schefter has the juicy details of Nuk’s new deal.

So after a year and a half of waiting, the Texans have finally rewarded the best player on their offense with a massive deal. Hopkins’ $49 Million in guarantees beats out Julio Jones as the larguest amount of guaranteed cash given to any wide receiver in the league. It’s also the largest amount of guaranteed money that the Texans have given out to a offensive player in the teams history.
