The Texans remain holed up in the woods of West Virginia, far from their adoring Houston-centered fanbase, but we’ve still been fortunate enough to get some good (and not so good) news about the guys this week. Brian Cushing wore a live mic during practice one day, and he was, as always, epic. People said nice things about rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson so we’re even closer to wetting ourselves than we were draft night (no? that’s just me? well, I’m not ashamed). Will Fuller suffered a broken collarbone that will cause him to miss extended time. Austin Howard paid a visit to the Texans, because our offensive line still runs the risk of being offensive. And the team made some roster moves and released a depth chart.
This week in pop culture has seen the cinematic releases of Detroit and The Dark Tower, with Detroit getting better reviews. Those of you who live in Houston can see Queen (featuring Adam Lambert) or John Mayer perform live this weekend.
What’s going on in your neck of the woods? What do you think about what the Texans have done this week? What have you done this week? This is your open thread, where you can discuss just about anything. Enjoy!
