J.J. Watt left today’s game against the Jaguars late in the second half to have a finger injury attended to, but he would later return in the third quarter. His teammates, Brian Cushing and Ryan Griffin, however, were not so fortunate.
Cushing and Griffin are out with concussions.

Cushing and Griffin will now enter the concussion protocol, and their availability for Thursday night’s game against the Bengals is in question. Two additional Texans are also being evaluated for concussions - C.J. Fiedorowicz and Bruce Ellington - but their status is not yet confirmed.
