In the event you were under a rock from about 1:30 p.m. yesterday until this very moment, you may not have known that Bill O’Brien made a change at quarterback for your Houston Texans at halftime of the season opener. Naturally, people want to know whether that change is permanent, or at least who the Texans will trot out under center against the Bengals on Thursday night. We don’t have an answer to that question yet, but we do have Ian Rapoport talkin’ ‘bout expectations.
At this point, the expectation is that the #Texans stick with rookie Deshaun Watson vs. the #Bengals. Still evaluating, but tough to go back

HOWEVER...
One complicating issue for the #Texans & their QB choice: Source says Deshaun Watson was spotted limping with an ankle injury. Short week.

We live in interesting times, friends.
UPDATE: Rapoport now says how Watson’s ankle holds up at practice today is the final test.
