Report: If Healthy, Deshaun Watson Will Be Named Texans’ Starting Quarterback

Looks like we might know after the Texans finish practice today.

After reporting yesterday that the “expectation” was that the Texans would make a change at quarterback, Ian Rapoport is a bit more definitive about the potential switch from Tom Savage to Deshaun Watson now, though he says Watson’s elevation to starter depends on his health at practice today.

Now we wait. Some more, I mean.

UPDATE: Still not sure who’ll start in two days, Bill O’Brien says.

UPDATE II: O’Brien hasn’t made it public, but sources are telling reporters a decision has been made.
