After a simply brutal opening to their 2017 regular season, your Houston Texans are in Cincinnati to face the Bengals on Thursday Night Football this week. They’ve already been ravaged by injuries and will be starting a rookie quarterback behind an offensive line that could not have possibly played worse last week. No one knows what to expect, but I expect we’ll all be watching. Here’s how to do that.
Kickoff Time: 7:25 p.m CDT on Thursday, September 14th.
TV Broadcast: NFL Network. The game can also be seen on NBC if you’re in the Houston market.
Radio Broadcast: Sports Radio 610 (AM), 100.3 (FM), and XM 225. NFL Game Pass also provides an audio streaming service.
Online Streaming: Viewers in the U.S. can watch on the NFL Mobile app if they have a Verizon subscription. Anyone else can use the NFL Game Pass subscription service to watch the game. Amazon Prime has a deal to stream Thursday Night Football for its subscribers this season, but that unfortunately doesn’t begin for another two weeks.
Opponent Blog: Cincy Jungle.
Facebook: Sure, you like us. But do you really, really like us?
NFL Network Replay: 12 p.m CDT on Friday, September 15th.
In terms of what we'll be doing on game day itself, expect "Countdown To Kickoff" to post at 3:30 p.m. CDT tomorrow, with the first open thread for the game posting at 7:15 p.m. CDT. We'll add new live threads as necessary, and then we'll have a post-game reaction thread as soon as the game's over.
