The arrival of Marcus Burley necessarily meant someone was going to lose a roster spot, and now we know who it is.

I was a bit surprised Dee Virgin made the initial 53-man roster, so it follows that he’d be the odd man out here, particularly with Burley being a defensive back. We wish Virgin all the best as he looks to continue his career elsewhere.
Wendall Williams was elevated from the practice squad late last year in the wake of Braxton Miller’s season-ending injury but couldn’t make the team this year. Best of luck to him getting healthy and finding a new home in the NFL.
