Wide receiver-kick returner Chris Thompson waived today by Texans, according to a source. He already has interest from several other NFL teams.

Thompson flashed a bit for the Texans on special teams last year, but he was always a long shot to make the team this year, particularly after he missed a good chunk of the preseason with a concussion. Best of luck to him as he looks to continue his NFL career elsewhere.
