In typical New Year’s Day fashion, there are plenty of bowl games to watch this morning until the College Football Playoff kicks off tonight, which we’ll have a separate thread for. Here are the games of note before the first of the two national semifinal games begins later this afternoon..

Outback Bowl: Michigan v. South Carolina (11 a.m./ESPN2)

Peach Bowl: Auburn v. University of Central Florida (11:30 a.m./ESPN)

Citrus Bowl: Notre Dame v. LSU (12 p.m. ABC)
