After a disappointing last few days in which the Texans had numerous interview requests for several different front office personnel from around the league turned down, the Texans have seemingly settled on the man to replace Rick Smith as the team’s general manager. Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport:
The #Texans are expected to hire #Bills VP of player personnel Brian Gaine as their new GM, sources say. The favorite all along.

Yes, as expected, the Texans former Director of Player Personnel is coming back home to Houston to man the helm of the Texans’ ship.
What say you of the hiring, Texans fans? Do you think Gaine is the right man for the job? Let us know in the comments below.
UPDATE: It’s official. Gaine has a five-year deal to be the GM of the Texans (and Bill O’Brien essentially got a new deal too).
