Houston Texans Coaching News: Texans Hire Three Assistant Coaches

Today, John McClain reports, Bill O’Brien and the Houston Texans hired three more position coaches after he purged the staff with spiked bats, cudgels, and curved points.

The Texans hired Danny Barrett to coach the running backs and Tracy Smith as an assistant special teams coach (joining Brad Seely, who was hired earlier this week). Anthony Midget will get a promotion from assistant secondary coach to defensive backs coach.

I could feign intelligence and act like I know something about these coaches, but I don’t. This is all I got.

The Texans hired some new coaches to replace those that were fired or walked away to pursue other opportunities.
