AFC Championship Game 2017: Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New England Patriots

It’s the AFC Championship Game between the Jags and Pats.

Oh man, what a time to be alive. The Jacksonville Jaguars are pretty damn good and the AFC South is probably not terrible. We all knew it had to happen eventually, but I didn’t think it was going to happen with a team that had a QB who has only completed 26 passing attempts in two playoff games. Then again, who needs a QB when your defense boasts two smothering fire blankets at corner along with uber-athletic linebackers and a violent group of pass rushers?

As usual, the party poopers are going to be the brutally efficient and destructive New England Patriots and their armada of bloviating fans, all cursing the name of Seth Wickersham and unleashing bellows of ‘‘FAKE NEWS’’ whenever someone mentions ESPN. The Patriots cruised to a 35-14 victory over the Titans in the divisional round and look as infallible as ever behind health guru Tom Brady and the grumpiest dad in all the NFL, Bill Belichick.

This is your open thread to talk about all the wonders the AFC Championship Game will hopefully have.
