If you aren’t getting all jazzed up for the Super Bowl, then the offseason has already started for you. Sad! My mind isn’t thinking about Houston, the 2018 NFL Draft, free agency, or the sweltering summer. I’m thinking about Nick Foles and the Eagles’ offensive and defensive lines against the Patriots. But if you have checked out and are already scouring over the cap and Senior Bowl video, I have some FUN news for you.
Via Sarah Bishop at ESPN.com and per Bill O’Brien, Deshaun Watson is ahead of schedule in his rehab from the knee injury that ended his rookie season. DW4 is more than on the track. His recovery is going great:
“He’s working hard to get back and I know he’s ahead of schedule. I’m hoping ... that he can at least maybe participate in 7-on-7 [drills]. Maybe not team drills, but [maybe] he can do 7-on-7s or one-on-ones and things like that. But we’ll see.”
