2018 NFL Playoff Predictions: Wild Card Round

How do you see Wild Card Weekend turning out?

Jacksonville Jaguars v Tennessee Titans
Will the postseason end quickly for Titans fans?

This week’s sponsored post asks each of the SB Nation NFL sites to make a prediction (or some predictions) about the 2018 NFL Playoffs. As a fan of a team that won’t be participating in the postseason (or in the first two rounds of the 2018 NFL Draft!), my unimaginative arse bestows the following predictions that are sure to ring hollow when the games are actually played this weekend upon you.

Tennessee Titans v. Kansas City Chiefs (3:20 p.m. CST): Chiefs 24, Titans 16. The Titans’ return to the postseason ends in rapid fashion.

Atlanta Falcons v. Los Angeles Rams (7:15 p.m. CST): Rams 28, Falcons 24. I believe the Rams are a markedly better team, but I’m guessing they’ll have a bit of an adjustment to the bright lights of the playoffs.

Buffalo Bills v. Jacksonville Jaguars (12:05 p.m. CST): Jaguars 21, Bills 10. I’m assuming a hobbled LeSean McCoy plays, but the Jags’ defense would be strong medicine for a Buffalo squad that featured a fully operational Shady McCoy regardless.

Carolina Panthers v. New Orleans Saints (3:40 p.m. CST): Saints 30, Panthers 20. The Superdome crowd, Drew Brees, and a legitimately good New Orleans defense will be too much for Cam Newton to overcome.

So I’ve got every home team winning in the Wild Card round. Really going out on a limb here.

Feel free to leave your bold playoff predictions in the space below.
