After dealing with injuries the entire regular season, the Texans are now dealing with them in the Pro Bowl. Both of their representatives will skip this year’s contest.
Jadeveon Clowney is already sitting out because of a knee injury. DeAndre Hopkins will now sit out because of a calf injury he received for Christmas against the Pittsburgh Steelers that also kept him out of the battle for last place in the AFC South in Week 17.

Filling in for him will be Jarvis Landry, the all catch, zero efficiency receiver from the Miami Dolphins.
It’s hard enough to watch the Pro Bowl as is, but it at least gives the fans one last opportunity to watch their guys play a final time before the helmets are dipped in trash cans of disinfectant and the shoulder pads are wheeled back down in the basement.
This year, Texans fans won’t even get the opportunity to do that.
