Hell yeah. I can’t wait for this one. I got some pink flamingos in the front yard, a garish teal flower shirt, I’ve cut the legs off my blue jeans, there’s a baby pool in my living room, and I’m drinking Bud Heavies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, if I can make it to dinner. Finally there’s an AFC South game that really matters. This is the only joy I have for Bill O’Brien masquerading behind his win loss record again. We get a Texans-Jaguars game that matters. Both teams are 3-3. Hopefully this is a prelude to an eventual week 17 AFC South title game between Houston and Jacksonville. The Titans can’t even get in the way of this imaginary championship game that only exists in my head.
It’s going to rain all weekend. It’s flooding down in Texas. So I’ll be home. I may screw around and make a giant pot of chili. I don’t know. I’ll be hanging around with the dogs and myself watching Deshaun Watson and Blake Bortles run for their lives and the semi-annual Jalen Ramsey DeAndre Hopkins wild west showdown.
Anyways, those are my plans. What about you? What do you have going on? Are you going to get sun burned in Jacksonville and scratch watching a Jags game in their giant peepee pool off your bucket list? Will you be hanging out, going out, or watching the game from the couch? Are you too afraid to have the lights off during this sp0000ky time of year?
Whatever your plans, let us know in the Comments. If you’re still trying to figure out what you’re going to do, or if you’ll be a stranger in a strange land looking for somewhere to catch the game, pose any queries here; someone might have a suggestion for you. Similarly, if you’ve got a worthy spot staked out somewhere and want to clue fellow Texans fans in to it, please divulge that information in the Comments as well.
