Ideally, the good guys continue their winning streak. Smith hasn’t exactly set the world alight and Washington’s offense is dealing with one of the worst receiving corps in the NFL (a total of 3 TDs, 88 receptions, and 701 yards), so we should expect to see a fair bit of Adrian Peterson. The ‘Skins are two games up in the NFC East, which has proven to be hot trash this season (they’re the only team above .500), while the Texans come into today’s action on a six-game winning streak, up a game in the AFC South.
Given the issues their wide receivers are having, I expect Adrian Peterson and the Washington run game to be the deciding factors for them today. However, there are injuries along their OL, and we enjoy the services of J.J. Watt, Jadeveon Clowney, Whitney Mercilus, et. al. for a reason.
How do you think this will play out? What are you doing in the meantime until the game begins? Anything we need to be focusing on? This is where we countdown until the action. The Inactives List will be available around 90 minutes before kickoff. A link will be posted in the Comments.
