NOTES:

  • Demaryius Thomas left the game with a torn Achilles after just 35 snaps. Vyncint Smith was the main beneficiary of the playing time DT left behind. Smith recorded 25 snaps, a season-high, and scored his first NFL touchdown.
  • Kareem Jackson left Sunday’s game with an ankle injury, limiting him to just 13 snaps. The Texans hope to have him back in the lineup on Sunday against the Jaguars.
  • Kayvon Webster stepped up in Kareem’s absence, but he aggravated his lingering thigh injury (eventually landing on IR), which put Deante Burton in position to make his Texans debut. Burton recorded 62 defensive snaps.
