What was rumored a couple days ago has now become reality. Brian Cushing is no longer a member of your Houston Texans.
Texans officially released Lb Brian Cushing today, per source.

Where do you think the next chapter of Cushing’s NFL career plays out? I think he can still be a productive linebacker on a good defense, just not one who commands the kind of salary he once did. If I had to guess, I’d wager we see him wearing a Patriots, Giants, or Jets uniform in 2018. What’s your best guess?
UPDATE: Brian Cushing has issued a statement in the wake of his release.
